My name is Barbara E. McNamara.
I'm a wife and working mom with two small children, very much attuned to the demands placed on today's modern family. For over 10 years, I've been a solo practitioner. My office was in Newport Beach, California for 9 years, and in 2008 my office moved to Garden Grove in order to be closer to the Family Law Court house.

I've fought—and won—for many, many clients for over 10 years. I specialize in divorce and family law—I don't do contracts, or personal injuries, or criminal cases, just family law. Basically, I've done what one of my law professors told me to do so many years ago—I've taken one thing and learned to do it very, very well.
Speaking of professors, I received my BA degree from the from University of California, San Diego. I graduated from Western State University law school in 1995, and passed the California State Bar Exam in 1997.
After practicing for some years, I decided to become a California State Bar Certified Family Law Specialist. This extra step of specialization wasn't just to add another title to my name, but to ever increase my advantage for my clients. When you come to me, you know that you have come to someone commited to providing the best possible experience for your case.
